Vid Chomper Review: [Munch Your Way to Success or Starve?]

Thanks for swinging by my honest and unbiased review of Vid Chomper!

The truth be told, I’m not a huge fan of buying WarriorPlus products because most fall short when it comes to tutorial quality and/or the traffic strategies.

But I made an exception just this once because the product I’m about to review is part of a special ‘Xmas Super Bundle’ I got my hands on.

Which contains 15 other products like Boomerang Buddy, Super Funnels, and Atomic DFY, to name a few…

All for just $20!!

So at that drop-in-the ocean price, who could resist, huh?

But anyway, Vid Chomper apparently allows you to eat up content videos in seconds and transform them into traffic machines in just 3 clicks.

But can you really munch your way to profits as an affiliate marketer with this product?

Or is it gonna turn you into Hank Marvin… In other words, does it fail to hit the spot – leaving you absolutely starving for success?

Tuck in to find out…

A Quick Glance

Vid Chomper Review

Name: Vid Chomper (VC).

Owners: Brendan Mace & Jono Armstrong.

Website: vidchomper.com/vidchomp.

Cost: $27.95 (at the time of writing) + $67, $197 (X2), $397 & $167 for upgrades.

My Score: 5/10.

PROS

  • Cheap to buy
  • Basic video tutorials
  • Easy to use for creating YouTube videos
  • Potential to make money
  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

CONS

  • You’ll be stealing YouTubers’ video content
  • Comes with numerous hidden upsells

Summary:

On a positive note, Vid Chomp makes the YouTube video creation process as simple as snow.

Because the software easily creates unique videos on your behalf by combining the videos you select in whatever niche you choose.

You just need to follow Brendan’s keyword research guidance for potential rankings/traffic and then customize the videos before uploading.

But the biggest issue I have with the software is that you’ll be basically thieving content that other YouTubers’ spent time and effort to produce.

If that was me, I’d be super pissed.

So in my book, it will make you no better than the guy or gal who takes candy from a baby.

If you want my advice, start your own affiliate marketing Biz and learn to build it yourself without piggybacking off others.

That’s the only honest way to succeed on the internet. Period.

Final Verdict: Legit. But Potentially Risky.

What is Vid Chomper All About, Huh?

According to Mace and Armstrong, Vid Chomper enables you to quickly consume content videos and turn them into LOTS of “FREE” traffic to your affiliate offers.

Apparently, it’s a newbie-friendly ‘Done-For-You’ traffic system that gets the job done instantly in just 3 clicks:

  1. Choose Keyword
  2. Chomp Videos
  3. Monetize

It’s as simple as that! Well, so the duo claims.

In a nutshell, you legally steal other people’s videos and kinda hijack their traffic, which seems pretty similar to another product I reviewed called Equinox

Where you reap the benefits of other YouTubers’ elbow grease.

But if VC REALLY is some “ground shattering” system, then why the heck are Mace and Armstrong selling it off for less than 30 bucks?

And why hasn’t every affiliate marketer on planet Earth already bought their product or jumped on the bandwagon, huh?

To me, VC comes across as another hyped-up WarriorPlus product building up your hopes, as always.

Hmm… the truth is about to be uncovered…

How Does The Magical Vid Chomper Work For Traffic?

The one thing that baffles me when it comes to VC is that there’s no video introduction whatsoever when you land on the dashboard.

Instead, you’re greeted by the confusing options of creating a new video or viewing your library.

Vid Chomper Members Dashboard

When you click on ‘Create New Video’ and type in a keyword to search for videos on YouTube – an error pops up saying you need to set up the API first.

WTF?!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it more logical to watch a video introduction followed by VC “tutorials” FIRST?

Rant over LOL.

But anyway, if you scroll down the dashboard to ‘Settings’, there’s a 5-minute ‘API Tutorial’ video on creating a project in ‘Google API Console’.

This is basically so you can hook up your YouTube account to VC so the software easily allows you to search for videos to download, create your own, and upload.

It’s Then Off to The Races With The ‘Training’

Finally, you’ll find a short 3.43-minute video introduction to VC from Mace sporting a stylish monster hat.

Hallelujah!

Where he claims VC is gonna take you one step further to your goal of building a lifestyle Biz on the web and earning a passive income, blahdy blah.

And then it’s time to get stuck into the actual training where there are 3 brief video tutorials:

Video #1: Walkthrough of The Software (7.44 Minutes)

Mace talks about how VC is designed to gather a bunch of videos from YouTube and combine them together to produce your own unique video for traffic.

Followed by him showing you the process of picking out videos in any niche for the software to download and join as one.

Search Videos From YouTube

Your Video Search Begins Like This.

What’s also great about VC is that it enables you to customize your unique videos by trimming parts, and adding text, slogans, and buy buttons.

Furthermore, you can edit your video titles and descriptions before the software uploads them to YouTube.

Video #2: Keyword Research For Videos (7.12 Mins)

What I love about this video is that Mace not only highlights the importance of picking “the right” keywords for ranking your videos for organic traffic.

But also shares some hacks for locating those potentially profitable keywords by using YouTube itself to find successful vloggers in your niche.

Video #3: How to Monetize Videos (11.40 Mins)

Mace discusses two different ways of making money from your new videos.

The first option is by dropping your affiliate links into the YouTube video descriptions.

But for this method to have the most impact, you really wanna add some good descriptive text providing value.

Instead of just saying “hey, click here to buy product X”, in my opinion.

The second option is all about the “outro” method which goes hand-in-hand with the first option.

Where you add pre-designed (or upload your own) text and imagery to the video endings telling your visitors to “subscribe” or “click the link below to buy”, etc.

What’s The Overall Cost of Vid Chomper?

To gain basic access to VC will cost you $27.95 (at the time this review was published).

And YUP, with it being a WarriorPlus product, there are also upsells:

  • ‘VC Pro’ for 10X More Profits = $67
  • ‘Done-For-You’ = $197
  • ‘Unlimited Traffic’ = $197
  • ‘Everything Bundle’ = $397
  • ‘License Rights’ to resell VC for 100% commissions = $167

But with the last upsell, why do you think Google is filled up with so many “biased” reviews of VC?

Final Conclusion: Is Vid Chomper Legit & Worth it?

YUP, Vid Chomper is totally legit. There’s no question about it.

But whether it’s actually worth purchasing and using depends on your perspective, at the end of the day.

Here’s VC from my own perspective as an affiliate marketer…

The upside to the software is that it’s incredibly easy and simple to use for creating your own videos without applying much effort.

I also like the fact that Mace gives you some guidance on choosing the right keywords to potentially rank your videos and drive free traffic.

So I certainly believe there’s money-making potential.

But the downside to VC is that you are actually stealing other people’s hard work which could also reflect badly on your reputation if building a brand.

And when/if they find out, they will be EXTREMELY pissed off at you.

Take it from me as a blogger… When I discovered other so-called bloggers stealing my content, I hit the roof.

Let’s just say a few ClickFunnels affiliates felt my wrath LOL.

Whether YouTube condones this kinda behaviour or not, it’s still an unethical way of practicing affiliate marketing, in my book.

Wanna do Affiliate Marketing The “Proper” Way?…

I can see the appeal of Vid Chomper because it can certainly make life easier for newbies who wanna dive into YouTube.

But if you’re too lazy to learn the concept of “internet marketing” yourself, then you really have no business being in the affiliate marketing arena.

BUT if you are prepared to learn the essential skills and give this “money-making” thing some welly…

Then the platform I use provides you with the tools, step-by-step training & 24/7 support for building a profitable affiliate marketing Biz from scratch…

And it’s called…
