When it comes to building a free website for affiliate marketing, the process seems as daunting as hell.
Wouldn’t you agree?
Because, you’re under the impression that some sort of “geek-tech” coding wizardry is required of you, right?
But that couldn’t be further from the truth in today’s internet marketing landscape.
The good news is that you can have your very own beautiful website (in form of a WordPress blog) crafted in less than 60 seconds for $0…
Using the jaw-dropping ‘SiteRubix’ builder!

What The Heck is ‘SiteRubix’, You Ask?
Sorry to state the obvious, but it builds you a free blog for starting your very own affiliate marketing business.
Or in laymen’s terms: It’s a site builder. Duh. 😛
Joking aside.
SiteRubix (SR) was designed by Wealthy Affiliate (WA) co-founders (Kyle and Carson) to not only make life a heck of a lot simpler for newbies like YOU.
But also allow you to build a profitable online business from the ground up by utilizing the tools, training and support inside WA.
I bet you didn’t know this very website (FuriousAffiliate.com) was built using SR, huh?
Did you also know there are four crucial components of building and running a successful website?
It just so happens that SR equips you with all four key elements, which I’m about to uncover.
#1: That Professional Look For Your Visitors
The awesome thing about building a free niche website through SR is that WordPress comes with an array of amazing-looking template themes.
You simply choose a template from the 10 – 12 that are available and click your mouse button to activate it.
But if you want to fine-tune your blog and take it to the next level (from a siterubix.com subdomain to your own .COM domain) and unlock 4,000+ template themes as well as 10,000s of plugins…
Simply upgrade your WA plan.
And if you really want to push the boat, separating yourself from the “free-theme” bloggers, there are tons of awesome Premium themes you can purchase online from providers like:
- MyThemeShop
- ThriveThemes
- StudioPress
- TemplateMonster
- And Elegant Themes, to name several.
You really are spoilt for choice when it comes to both free and paid templates.
#2: Navigation That’s as Easy as 1-2-3
Nobody likes a website with tabs and widgets dotted all over the shop, do they?
And in my opinion, this also applies to promotional banners because they’re just a tacky 1990s strategy, at the end of the day.
An over-complicated website leads to visitors getting overwhelmed and as frustrated as hell, which in turn, sends them running into the open arms of your competitors’.
UGH.
So WordPress allows you to adopt the “Simple Simon” approach…
Keeping your menus and widgets to a bare minimum, and also positioning them wherever you see fit on your site for an epic user-experience.
#3: A ‘CMS’ (Say Whaaa?)
It stands for ‘Content Management System’, which you will most definitely need if you want to actually grow your site and drive traffic to it.
First of all, the WordPress CMS allows you to produce content of the highest quality.
The more blog posts you publish on a regular basis will equate to more rankings in Google = more traffic = more potential affiliate commissions in your pockets.
Need I say more?
But the two other cool aspects of WordPress is that you can gain access to your WP publishing area from any worldwide location.
And also set up multiple users, so that other writers can produce content in your absence.
#4: A Superman-Fast Load Time
In today’s digital age, we expect processes to happen rather rapidly.
Whether, it’s ordering a pizza, making an Amazon purchase or booking an important appointment, etc.
So if your website loads at the sluggish pace of a tortoise (or even worse, a sloth), will your visitors hang around for more than a few seconds
The short answer is NO.
Unfortunately, it will have a negative impact on your results.
So SR really does have your back when it comes quick web hosting speeds.
But if you upgrade your WA plan, imagine your site loading up like Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner on steroids.
Can you say meep meep?
In a nutshell, SR and WordPress both help you to cater to each person landing on your site.
And what benefits your visitors also benefits your overall SEO – leading to higher Google rankings, which goes without saying.
But Your Free Website Benefits Don’t Stop There…
Building your WordPress blog through SR comes with numerous tools and platforms that go hand-in-hand with your efforts.
First up, there’s ‘SiteManager‘.
This is the control panel that not only allows you to access your website’s back office but also displays your basic website stats like post, page, and comment counts.
Secondly, there’s ‘SiteContent‘.
This is WA’s in-house writing platform – allowing you to efficiently create content by using various templates, setting writing goals, and even a spell checking your work.
Thirdly, there’s ‘SiteBuilder‘.
Here, you’ll be able to build a free site for starting an affiliate marketing business from scratch (+ 9 more sites as a Premium member).
Finally, there’s ‘SiteDomains‘.
Basically, WA gives you the option of buying your own domain name for your site. (.COM prices start from $13.99 per year inside the community).
Plus, you’ll have a small taste of the Jaaxy keyword tool – giving you 30 free searches + 30 free scans for tracking your rankings in Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
A Quick Recap of Your Goody Bag Contents:
- The ability to build a free blog!
- 10 ‘Online Entrepreneur Certification’ lessons
- Access to 2 classrooms for help & support
- 10 – 12 beautifully designed template themes to select from
- Access to WA’s domain name platform
- Virus & Malware protection
- A content writing platform + templates + grammar/spell checker
- Limited use of a keyword tool named Jaaxy
Trust me, there are MANY more benefits where they came from.
Just go Premium with WA to unlock your website’s FULL potential.
Wrapping it up on Affiliate Marketing Blogs…
At the end of the day, building a free site for making money as an affiliate marketer really is a piece of cake because there’s no rocket science involved.
But only WHEN you have the right tools, guidance, and support at your disposal for getting set up for success.
Thankfully, SR combined with the WA community provides you with all three elements.
But what if you want to take your website beyond the “just getting started” stage – making it profitable?
Well, luckily, WA also offers all the advanced resources you’ll need with its Premium membership option.
However, that’s only part of the battle because, in order to actually succeed with your site, you’ll need to spend months investing effort into content creation.
And also be prepared for a rough rollercoaster ride because you’ll experience many ups and downs, I assure you of that.
But don’t let it put you off lol.
So if you’re ready to go “all in” on this affiliate marketing “thing” for a full-time income.

Good on ya! Happy online Biz building! 🙂
Hi, everything in your post is right, before I came across Wealthy Affiliate where I know about SiterRubix, I thought I would need code to be able to own a free website.
But with SiteRubix, owning a website is easy, I can build a free blog with the help of the information in your post, to help friends who still believe they have to pass through training of coding before building a site.
I will be sharing your post on my social media so that they can benefit from it.
That’s the awesome thing about website creation these days… Absolutely ZERO techinical skills are required by newbies.
I bet it P*sses off a lof of web designers lol.
At least you now know where to build your freebie site 😉 – and thanks for sharing this post, BTW!
I joined the free Wealthy Affiliate starter program and I like how I can make my free website and do 30 free keyword searches and all that. I upgraded to premium because I wanted Unlimited keyword searches and up to 25 websites.
I have been pretty happy with the decision so far. I also bought a domain through there bringing my total cost for the first month to $34.
That $34 has given me a lot of value so far and it’s not even two weeks since I started.
Right now I’m feeling like wow I’ve been doing this for almost 2 weeks, if I continue this I could really be making some money.
I picked a really simple theme on my website, the one with the aqua green. I think it looks pretty cool. The other things looked flashier but I couldn’t really understand how to organize them.
That’s super AWESOME, Charles!
Just think…
If you hadn’t of become a Wealthy Affiliate member, you wouldn’t have come so far with your website in such a short time.
As for theme, you made the best decision to roll with a simple template because the actual “content writing” part is more important than the theme when you’re starting out.
But don’t worry if you’re feeling overwhelmed by more advanced themes because you’ll slowly learn how themes work as you build out your blog and customize the layout with menus and widgets, etc.
Wow, didn’t know Siterubix was linked with wealthy affiliate. You know, I just joined and I just kicked off my training on the premium platform.
Honestly, the support I’ve been receiving has been overwhelming and this post is nothing short of that.
Well, after reading this post, I think I know all I need to know on how to get my site kicked off easily. Thanks for posting this educative post.
You better believe it!
You really can’t beat two top-notch (website + affiliate marketing training) platforms joined at the hip!
So good on ya…
You made the right decision to join the WA community.
You’re very welcome, I’m glad my post helped. 😀
I must say that I SO enjoyed my first week at Wealthy Affiliates that I had zipped through all of their courses in about 5 days and it left me drooling for more. I could see so much more potential! I was like a sponge for learning so I signed up for one month of premium. It was wonderful! Tons more learning and I could create my own .com addresses – which I promptly did.
With the constantly supportive community at WA, I never have to wait long to get a question answered or to receive needed encouragement. It offers all that you said and more. I especially love the weekly webinars that cover so many different topics.
I would encourage all to just give WA a try for a week! You have nothing to lose and WA doesn’t even ask for a credit card number for the week so you will never get hit with an unexpected payment.
AMAZING!
You sure are a fast learner, and I totally understand your craving for more of Kyle’s training.
When you’re guided by the hand by a successful affiliate marketer for getting set up and running, why would you not want to upgrade to WA’s “premium” membership for learning how to make your site profitable?
I totally agree with you on the support/additional training from the community because it’s second to none, in my opinion.
Thanks, I really appreciate your words of encouragement, and I’m sure the newbies reading this will too.
