Boomerang Buddy Review: [Does it Come Back With $100/Day?]

Hey, friend… or should I say g’day mate? 😛 Cheers for stopping by my Boomerang Buddy review!

Unlike numerous biased reviews from “affiliates” you’ll find, I’ll be totally upfront with you about the product, highlighting the pros and cons.

So is Jono Armstrong’s creation really designed as a digital version of the iconic thrown spinning tool that’s gonna return to you with $100+ per day?

Or is this one broken rotating wing that fails to take flight from the get-go, huh?

Let’s find out, sport!…

At a Quick Glance

Boomerang Buddy Review

Name: Boomerang Buddy (BB).

Owner: Jono Armstrong. (What, no Brendan Mace?!)

Website: .boomerangbuddy.net/live.

Cost: $22.21 (at the time of writing) + $100s for upsells & other resources.

My Score: 6/10.

PROS

  • Low front-end cost
  • Easy-to-use software
  • Video training tutorials
  • Help & support
  • Good money-making potential
  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

CONS

  • Software needs installing on your computer
  • No training on email marketing & Google Ads with basic membership
  • Can be a costly strategy
  • Comes with a bunch of upsells

Summary:

In all honesty, I’m taken back by Boomerang Buddy because it has great income-generating potential, since it teaches you the “Instagram shoutout” method.

This can be effective as long as you have an already-established Instagram account from the get-go, in my book.

Armstrong doesn’t just equip you with newbie-friendly software for easily locating influencers within your niche who are willing to promote your stuff.

But the guy also offers some basic guidance on choosing the right affiliate offers, constructing your promo posts & approaching those influencers.

I also like the fact that you’re taught a couple of other advanced strategies for making the most from your campaigns.

However, there are a couple of downsides to the shoutout and advanced money-making methods…

First of all, they can work out quite costly. So be prepared to have a chunk of change going spare.

And secondly, Armstrong fails to teach you the ways of the email marketing ninja and also how to use the Google Ads method he mentions.

So you’ll need to buy an upsell.

Oh, and one more thing…

I’m not particularly keen on having to install the BB software on my desktop either because it should be web-based to make it less risky.

But good product overall.

Final Verdict: Legit.

What is Boomerang Buddy All About, Mate?

First, I’d like to start off by saying I got Boomerang Buddy for a dirt-cheap price because it’s part of a special ‘Xmas Super Bundle’ I bought.

Which contains other products like Super Funnels, Atomic DFY, Vid Chomper, Cash Magnets, and The Secret Weapon, to name a handful.

However, not all products are that great, to be fair. But then again, they are WarriorPlus ones we’re talking about here.

So does that make BB a bag of sh*t too?

You’ll just have to wait and see!

On BB’s sales page, Armstrong claims it’s a brand new software that quickly and easily rakes you in $100+ per day by ethically exploiting the success of others.

Apparently, all it takes is a few simple steps to start reeling in the wonga:

  1. Sit Back & View The Step-by-Step Training
  2. Use The Software & Method as Directed
  3. Rinse & Repeat to Scale This to The Moon & Create a Job-Crushing Income (Armstrong’s words, not mine).

Blahdy blah…

YUP, the guy’s produced yet another “hyped-up” sales pitch.

So let’s discover if BB ACTUALLY lives up to all the hype, yeah?

How Boomerang Buddy Takes to The Sky…

Once you’ve stepped inside the members’ area which looks exactly like THIS:

Boomerang Buddy Members Dashboard

Armstrong (aka “the 7-figure super affiliate”) waits to greet you with a quick ‘Welcome & Orientation’ video.

Where he briefly explains BB as being a piece of software for tapping into a powerful traffic source.

Then follows 4 different tabs containing training and the actual software itself.

#1: Detailed Overview

Before getting your hands on Armstrong’s magical system, A guy named Tom E walks you through a 4.58-minute video of how it works.

Where he says you’ll follow in Armstrong’s footsteps:

  1. Find a hot-selling affiliate product
  2. Pick one of 3 marketing methods based on your experience level
  3. Use the software to locate pre-qualified Instagram users in the ‘affiliate marketing’ niche
  4. The influencer promotes your link & you make money

While I’ve never implemented this “Insta influencer” strategy myself, I’ve heard on the grapevine that it is actually VERY profitable IF done right.

#2: Software Tutorial

Inside this 4.35-minute video, Chad Rego gives you an overview of the software.

Where he basically shows you how to hook up your Insta account to the software and search for influencers in your field who will do “Instagram shoutouts“.

But what’s super cool about the software is that it doesn’t just find those influencers.

But also pulls up their stats in terms of followers, posts, and engagement levels – so you know they’re gonna be worth paying to promote your stuff.

Ingenious or what?

#3: The Boomerang Software

In a nutshell, this is where you’ll be downloading the software to your desktop computer and installing it.

Desktop Software Installation Process

However, I’m not a fan of this computer installation approach because I prefer web-based software, since it’s a much safer bet, in my opinion.

But each to their own, I guess.

#4: Profit Training (3 Videos)

OK, so once you’ve got the software installed and you’re ready to rock, the “money-making” part comes next.

Where you’ll learn about 3 different methods for monetizing your shoutouts on Instagram.

Method #1: Easy (7.59-Minute Video)

Here, Armstrong guides you through the process of finding the highest converting affiliate products in any niche on ClickBank.

Once you select a product and grab its affiliate link, you’ll quickly create the promotional shoutout for your chosen influencer to blast out.

Additionally, there’s a ‘Done-For-You’ request message template for your first contact with an influencer.

Method #2: Medium (18.08 Minutes)

Instead of sending traffic directly to your affiliate link, Armstrong recommends building your own quick and simple squeeze page.

Where your visitors won’t just get redirected to your affiliate offer, but will also be added to your GetResponse email list.

Then Armstrong shows you how to quickly create an email list and opt-in form inside GetResponse that reflect your product.

Method #3: Advanced (18.07 Minutes)

This module is pretty similar to the previous one, except this time, Armstrong shows you how to build a proper squeeze page using Leadpages.

Not just that, but he walks you through setting up Google Ads to capture the data of any Instagram visitors who don’t subscribe to your email list.

And then use that data to retarget those individuals who slipped through the net with ads – sending them back to your offer page.

How Much Does Boomerang Buddy Cost, Huh?

At the time of writing, to grab the basic version of BB is just a drop-in-the-ocean cost of $22.21.

However, shoutouts aren’t always cheap because they can vary from $10 to $100s per campaign – depending on follower counts and other factors.

And if you wanna implement the advanced strategies, they’ll come with additional costs:

  • GetResponse autoresponder starts from 15/month
  • Leadpages starts from $25/month (billed yearly)
  • Google Ads can easily cost $100s

Now, as for the BB upsells, you’re looking at:

  • ‘BB Pro’ = $37
  • ‘Limitless Traffic’ = $197
  • ‘Advanced Training’ to 10X your results = $67
  • ‘Done-For-You’ campaigns = $97
  • ‘License Rights’ to resell BB for 100% commissions – which is the explanation behind all the “positive” product reviews on Google.

So all in all, BB can work out quite costly if you’re just starting out in the affiliate marketing world.

Final Conclusion: Is Boomerang Buddy Worth it?

In my opinion, YES, absolutely. In fact, I think Boomerang Buddy is one of Armstrong’s better products.

If you plug into the software and follow the tutorials to the letter, I believe there’s great money-making potential here.

But for the biggest impact with this “shoutout” method, it’s best to already have an established Insta account and send the traffic to an email opt-in page instead of an affiliate link.

However, my only beef with BB is that Armstrong teaches you nothing about marketing to your email subscribers or even running Google Ad campaigns.

So I’m guessing you’ll need to splash out more on the advanced training upsell.

But all-in-all, if you’ve got the funds and don’t mind installing the software on to your computer, then go for it.

Want a More Cost-Effective Affiliate Marketing Solution?…

OK, so using Instagram and shelling out for shoutouts, resources, and paid ads stacked on top of that may not be your cup of tea.

I totally get it because not everybody can afford this approach to affiliate marketing.

Plus, it can be a risky strategy, since there are never any guarantees in the land of internet marketing.

But if you’re after a MUCH cheaper alternative…

One, that equips you with free WordPress websites, step-by-step training & 24/7 support from a 2-million member community for earning a passive income online…
