Unfortunately, it’s hard to find an honest review of WP Video Machine due to “affiliates” hyping up the product just for easy “commissions”.
So inside this unbiased review, I’m gonna discuss the ins and outs of the product and let you know whether it’s actually worth investing in.
Sound good to you?
Cool, let’s go!…
At a Quick Glance
Name: WP Video Machine (WVM).
Owner: Ankur Shukla.
Cost: $19.95 (at the time of writing) + Upsells.
My Score: 5/10.
Blog Post Contents:
- Cheap to buy
- Easily turn blog post content into videos
- 30-day money-back guarantee
- Sales page is a little hyped-up
- Comes with basic functionalities
- Using bots for video narration isn’t a great idea
- Success on YouTube takes time
- There are multiple upsells
Although the sales page seems hyped-up, I do believe WP Video Machine can potentially turn your blog content into profitable YouTube videos.
And in my opinion, WVM is a good starting point for those who are new to the concept of vlogging and/or are camera shy.
However, just don’t expect the plugin to perform miracles because building a successful Biz via video marketing takes plenty of time.
Want proof? Check out Karen Marrow’s YouTube channel – she’s put a heck of a lot of work into creating review videos to get to where she is today.
But the biggest downside to MVW for me is that the software uses bots to transform your text into speech.
Who the hell likes watching videos without REAL people doing the narrating, huh?
Certainly not me, that’s for sure.
Final Verdict: Legit, but there are some disadvantages.
But before you continue, see THE absolute best way of earning a full-time income via affiliate marketing as a blogger…
What is WP Video Machine All About, You Ask?
In a nutshell, WP Video Machine is a WordPress plugin designed to turn your blog posts into YouTube videos in a single click of your mouse button.
Ankur Shukla reckons WVM is the easiest way to double your website’s traffic, backlinks, sales, and commissions.
The great news is that YouTube is a powerful method for getting videos ranked in the search engines and driving traffic to your blog or landing page.
But only IF it’s done right, which applies to every internet marketing strategy under the sun.
So is it really as easy and simple as it seems using Ankur’s magical video “shortcut” plugin?
Or is WVM just another hyped-up WarriorPlus product like another plugin I recently reviewed called WP Auto Ranker, huh?
I guess you’re about to find out…
How Does WP Video Machine Actually Work?
Basically, the WVM creator plugin automatically turns your blog posts into videos by auto generating video titles, descriptions, and tags.
And then uploads the videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf and even socially shares them.
Furthermore, the plugin adds images from your posts to the videos, music, and even allows you to add extra images from the royalty-free library.
And to make things even easier, you can choose from various male and female voiceover bots that translate your content into speech.
But before jumping for joy assuming this plugin’s the answer to all your video creation prayers, there are some downsides to it, sadly.
Don’t get me wrong, WVM is a genuine product that can potentially drive more traffic to your blog.
But the first problem is that YouTube is no “silver bullet” because just like blogging, it can take months to get decent rankings that drive big traffic.
Well, that’s if your blog posts/videos contain the right keywords from the offset.
So by no means will WVM bring you quick results.
And the second biggest problem is that “bots” are narrating your videos.
Which, in my opinion, will turn your visitors away because we all love that “human touch” – a REAL person actually speaking to use, right?
Furthermore, it’s also in your best interests that your audience SEES who you are in order for them to trust you more.
Even if it’s just a small window in the corner of the video of you talking to your audience, it can help make a world of difference.
So really, there are numerous factors to take into consideration when it comes to big success as a YouTuber because it’s really not that simple.
What’s The Cost of WVM, You Say?
At the time of publishing this review, WVM is $19.95 on the front end, which isn’t a bad, in my book.
However, it does come with basic and limited functionalities though.
Which, means you’ll have to fork out for the following upsells for more juicy stuff:
- Multi Site License = $29.95
- WVM Pro = $67
- Video Suite = $37
- Link Builder = $37
- Video Player = $47
Unfortunately, this is the thing with ‘money-making’ products these days, they try to squeeze you for more $.
This is why I’m never a big fan of WarriorPlus products or even ClickBank and JVZoo ones, for that matter.
But each to their own, I guess.
Final Conclusion: Is WP Video Machine a Scam?
Absolutely NOT because WP Video Machine actually provides some value.
Yes, you can potentially have a profitable YouTube channel on your hands using WPM, in my opinion.
But just don’t expect any “get-rich-quick” miracles because it takes a fair amount of time to get traction on YouTube.
It’s no different from blogging, at the end of the day.
But the thing I really dislike about this plugin is that the software does all the narrating on your behalf. It lacks that personal feel for your visitors.
The way I see it, it’s best to narrate the videos YOURSELF because you’ll connect with your audience on a much higher level.
Which, in turn is gonna lead to more blog traffic, sales, and bigger success overall.
So really, you need to weigh up the pros and cons before rushing to buy WVM.
