Summary:
In my opinion, The Secret Weapon provides some good guidance on the basics of setting up a landing page/sales funnels…
And also doing email marketing + driving paid traffic to make money from your affiliate promotions.
But I wouldn’t exactly call them “secret” or “easy” strategies though.
But my main beef with this product is that one or two tutorials lack depth and step-by-step guidance.
Especially when it comes to tutorial #3 which is all about creating your offer – an important first step, for example.
The other thing I dislike is that the training revolves around the ‘make money’ arena (namely promoting WarriorPlus products).
So some training on how to go about creating funnels in other niches wouldn’t go amiss.
Overall, I think there’s potential to earn from following TSW training.
But if you’re after fatter stacks of cash, I think you’re gonna have to look elsewhere for more advanced stuff, if I’m honest.

What is The Secret Weapon About, You Ask?
According to the creators of The Secret Weapon, newbies can easily create automated money-making systems.
Ones, that quickly generate $217.43 per day (starting today) from free traffic over-and-over.
They also claim it’s a brand new method and unheard-of method that requires tiny amounts of time and cash for the big profits to roll in.
And all it takes for the moolah to flow is 3 simple steps to implement:
- Uncover TSW (It takes about 15 minutes)
- Set up Using Their Exact Blueprint
- Sit Back as You Bank $100+ in Profit
Blah, blah, blah…
I’ve heard it all before with Mace and Armstrong’s products. Ones like Atomic DFY, Invisible, StealthD, and Aurora, to name a few.
I must admit, they’re very good at delivering hard-to-resist sales pitches, but their products aren’t always up to scratch, unfortunately.
But is TSW gonna be any different and create the “WOW” factor, that’s the question?
Let’s Roll Back The Curtains of The Secret Weapon…
Once you’re behind the scenes of TSW which looks like THIS.
It all kicks off with a short 2.41-minute introduction from Armstrong.
And then Eric Cagi steps in with a 1.44-minute overview – basically a flowchart of how the systems work.
Followed by 13 training videos from the guy on building your own money-making systems from the ground up:
#1: The Tools of The Trade (3.34 Mins)
Cagi walks you through all the resources and tools you’ll need for building out sales funnels.
Firstly, to build your squeeze pages, he recommends using InstaBuilder on WordPress (via Fiverr.com for $5), LeadPages, and ClickFunnels, to name a few.
Secondly, comes an Autoresponder like Aweber or GetResponse for email marketing.
And thirdly, you’ll need ClickMagick for tracking your results.
#2: Picking The Right Offer (8.26 Mins)
Here, Cagi shows you the easiest way of choosing the right offer that’s gonna make you the most money in affiliate commissions.
Where he walks you through the process of searching the WarriorPlus marketplace (UGH!) for ‘make money online’ products.
In all honesty, WarriorPlus has too many sub-par products for my liking. There are FAR better alternative affiliate programs and marketplaces.
Furthermore, the ‘make money’ industry/niche isn’t exactly ideal for newbies because not only is it highly competitive.
But you really must be enthusiastic about and also know the ins and outs of that industry/niche before jumping into bed with it.
#3: Crafting Your Free Course/Freebie (6.23 Mins)
Cagi gives you guidance on designing an invaluable “lead magnet” within your niche.
Which is basically the incentive for peeps to enter their names and email addresses into your opt-in page(s).
Don’t get me wrong, Cagi recommends some great methods for creating your freebies.
But he doesn’t actually show you HOW to craft them step-by-step, sadly.
#4: Creating Your Perfect TY Page (5.21 Mins)
Inside this brief video, you’ll learn about creating an effective ‘Thank You’ page.
Where Cagi shows you his own page as inspiration and how you can create one for yourself inside InstaBuilder.
#5: Overview of The Special Opt-in Page (6.09 Mins)
Cagi talks about the special opt-in page for gathering email leads and why it makes all the difference when it comes to your success.
Also, he shows you an example of a high-converting squeeze page in the ‘money-making’ arena.
#6: Creating Your Special Opt-in Page Part 2 (15.04 Mins)
OK, so this second video is where you’ll actually get your hands dirty.
First of all, Cagi quickly walks you through the process of creating an email list inside Aweber.
And secondly, you’ll see how to put your page together (also with the help of WarriorPlus) inside InstaBuilder and basically hook everything up.
#7: Adding Re-Targeting Pixels (2.46 Mins)
This is an optional step where Cagi briefly shows how to set up retargeting pixels for your landing page.
This is so you can potentially scoop up more email subscribers – the ones who declined your free offer the first time around.
#8: Putting Together an Email Follow-up Sequence (14.56 Mins)
In my opinion, creating a follow-up sequence is probably the hardest part.
Because you need to spend plenty of time crafting emails, knowing what to say for effectiveness, and how many to create, etc.
It can be a real ball ache, I tell ya!
But Cagi briefly guides you through the sequencing process by sharing examples of his own promotional follow-up emails inside his Aweber account.
Which you can use as a guideline for your campaigns and potential profits from your email subscribers.
#9: Free Traffic From FB (6.22 Mins)
Inside this video, you’re quickly shown how to generate free targeted traffic to your landing page(s) from Facebook groups.
While it can potentially be an effective strategy, it’s not exactly my cup of tea because it comes across as too “spammy” for my liking.
But each to their own, as they say, right?
#10: Solo Ads (10.35 Mins)
In a nutshell, Cagi shows you how to tap into solo ad traffic by finding the right solo ad vendors on Udimi.com and also Facebook.
However, there are two things that put me off this strategy:
Firstly, solo ads can be hit-and-miss in terms of “traffic quality” – which means your results can’t be guaranteed.
And secondly, you’ll need a sizable budget from the offset because solo ads don’t come cheap.

#11: How to Set up ClickMagick Tracking With W+ (3.09 Mins)
As the name on the tin suggests, you’ll be briefly shown how to set up your tracking software inside WarriorPlus.
#12: Getting Traffic With Bing Ads (9 Mins)
I’m not gonna go into great depth here.
But Cagi shows you step-by-step how to create a potentially profitable PPC (Pay Per Click) campaign inside Bing using the free coupon you receive.
Having dabbled in Bing in the past, I can confirm that this PPC method can make you profitable IF you do it right.
But with that said, you’ll still need a budget to play with – even with the free coupon upon sign up.
#13: Congruency (2.35 Mins)
Cagi basically highlights the importance of “relevance” when it comes to your landing and TY pages, free product, and email follow-ups.
And to wrap things up, there’s a 3.50-minute conclusion video.
On top of the training, there’s also a 9.45-minute case study.

What’s The Cost of The Secret Weapon, Huh?
To get through the front door will cost $12.95 (at the time of writing my review).
But $100s – $1,000s will also be required for certain tools and paid traffic methods combined.
Now, as for the upsells, I bought TSW as part of a special ‘Xmas Super Bundle’ – which meant I bypassed the whole sales page.
So I’ve no idea of the upsells (which aren’t in the dashboard area either). Hmm, strange…
But the word on the street is that the upgrades are:
- ‘Done-For-You Templates’ = $37
- ‘High Ticket Commissions’ = $197
- ‘Limitless Traffic’ = $197
- ‘Easiest System Ever’ = $157
- ‘License Rights’ to resell TSW for 100% commissions = $97 (Why do you think there are so many “biased” reviews floating around?)
Final Conclusion: Is The Secret Weapon Worth it?
Don’t get me wrong, The Secret Weapon delivers some good training modules on helping you to start off on the right foot with sales funnels.
However, the training’s centered around the ‘make money online’ niche which isn’t suitable for every newbie, in my book.
Furthermore, there’s no in-depth training on crafting your own offer step-by-step.
So unless you already know HOW to put a freebie offer together, then you’ll struggle to move past video lesson #3.
But what really ticks me off about TSW is that both Mace and Armstrong claim it’s a “secret” method that comes across as a piece of cake.
First of all, there’s nothing “secretive” about building landing pages, sales funnels, and doing email marketing.
Because all successful affiliate marketers have known about and/or used these strategies for donkey’s years.
And secondly, it’s gonna take time for newbies to get their heads around, implement, and making money from those strategies.
Because there’s A LOT more to profiting from internet marketing that meets the eye.
After a Cheaper Way to Kick-Ass at Affiliate Marketing?
There’s no doubt that sales funnels are an extremely effective and lucrative way of doing affiliate marketing.
BUT they do require numerous moving parts (see for yourself in the Funnel Hacker’s Cookbook) and also plenty of investments in tools and traffic.
So if you don’t have a decent budget when starting out with funnels, you’ll likely crash and burn.
