Enigma Review: [Will You Land on FB’s Naughty List?]

Welcome to my unbiased review of Enigma!

Here we go again… ANOTHER product from Brendan Mace and Jono Armstrong that revolves around exploiting social media.

Except, this time, it’s a piece of software that manipulates Facebook’s algorithm to generate free traffic to your affiliate offer on demand.

But is this really a great long term business-building strategy or will the software eventually land your ass in FB jail, huh?

THIS review is about to uncover the truth and also the ins and outs of the product, so hang tight…

At a Quick Glance

Enigma Review

Name: Enigma.

Owners: Brendan Mace & Jono Armstrong.

Website: enigmaaa.com.

Cost: $12.95 (at the time of writing) + $100s for upgrades.

My Score: 5/10.

  • Low start-up cost
  • Easy-to-use software
  • Basic training tutorials
  • Works in any niche
  • Money-making potential
  • 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

CONS

  • Basic version has limitations
  • A risky short term method, in my opinion
  • Comes with multiple upsells

Summary:

In a nutshell, Enigma is software designed to find viral Facebook videos with high levels of engagement for you to upload to your Facebook fan page.

Which in turn can potentially bring in floods of visitors to your FB page, followers, and some sales from your affiliate offers.

But in my opinion, this video “cloning and redistribution” strategy comes with some risks – making it only a short term path to $.

First of all, Facebook has full control over your fan page which can get shut down for whatever reason FB sees fit.

Trust me, I put a lot of work into my old ‘affiliate marketing’ page which FB closed down.

“Yeah, cheers for that, Mark Zuckerberg!” UGH.

And secondly, when/if FB cottons on to the exploited loophole, how long will it be until FB penalizes not just your page, but also your profile?

Furthermore, I’m not one for stealing others’ work either, because I consider it unethical.

Put simply, if you wanna become a long term successful affiliate marketer, stop investing in these “lazy loophole” products.

And learn all this internet marketing stuff yourself with a big dollop of elbow grease mixed in

Final Verdict: Legit, But Be Cautious.

What is Enigma All About, You Say?

Enigma is designed as brand new software for manipulating the Facebook algorithm to send your affiliate offers free traffic on demand.

According to Mace and Armstrong, you’ll get 1,000s of targeted visitors around the clock without any expenses and that thing called “work”…

Also, you won’t need to build or hack sales funnels, use chatbots, create your own videos, and all that sort of stuff.

Blah, blah, blah…

Yeah, ya know how these sales pages pan out… plenty of sizzle.

But what I’ve come to realise about Mace and Armstrong is that they’re true to their word when it comes to this kinda exploitative software.

Because it does actually work.

Want proof?

Check out Aurora, Vid Chomper, Boomerang Buddy, and Octane, to name a few products I’ve reviewed.

But although they create some half-decent stuff that gets the job done…

Sometimes the strategies are borderline unethical.

Which can eventually lead to your Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube account getting shut down.

So when it comes to Enigma’s Facebook method, I think you really need to watch your step if I’m being totally honest.

But enough of my rambling…

How Does Enigma Actually Work, Huh?

Once you step inside the members’ dashboard area (as shown below):

Enigma Members Dashboard

Armstrong greets you with a short welcome video – followed by a couple of other videos on how Enigma works and the tools you’ll need.

In a nutshell, the software quickly locates viral Facebook videos that you can upload to your own FB fan page.

This results in traffic being siphoned from the original video to your affiliate offer(s) and FB page to grow your audience.

Armstrong also recommends using Canva to create the logo for your FB page, as well as WiX to build a $0 website for yourself.

Basically, so you can promote your affiliate offers on your own platform because FB now disallows raw affiliate links in posts.

Recommended: Use The Free SiteRubix Website Builder – It’s a MUCH Better Option!

However, for Armstrong’s software/method to have a FULL effect, your website must be more than just a page of affiliate offers.

For example, it needs to be a squeeze page offering a gift in return for email leads.

Or high-quality blog product reviews that offer your visitors “VALUE“.

Because it’s gonna lead to the highest conversion rates, in my experience.

Now, on to the software section which contains 3 parts:

#1: Software Tutorial (6.56-Minute Video)

Here, you won’t just gain access to the Enigma software itself – where you’ll hook it up to your Facebook account.

Facebook Viral Video Software

But you’re also shown how to use it to search for viral videos within your niche, choose one with the most engagement to download, and upload it to your FB page as a compelling post.

Simples.

#2: Funneling The Traffic (9.05-Minute Video)

Armstrong discusses using a “bridge page” to tie in with your FB video posts for showcasing your affiliate offers.

Which is where WiX comes into the picture – where the guy also gives you a quick walkthrough of creating your new WiX sales page.

#3: Case Study (8.45-Minute Video)

Ryan Mcinness (the man who cracked this “Facebook algorithm” thing) shows his results using Enigma and can’t speak highly enough of the software.

I must say, I’m pretty impressed by the level of engagement his video posts get in terms of views, likes, and comments.

Which can ultimately lead to affiliate sales page traffic, potential sales, and more FB page fans.

This case study is then rounded off by a 4.32-minute conclusion video.

Where Armstrong also suggests doing 2 FB fan page affiliate promotions per week as your audience grows in size from your video posts.

What’s The Cost to Give Enigma a Whirl?

At the time of my review’s publication, the basic version’s $12.95. But the video search function is capped at only 20 searches per month.

This means you must upgrade to the pro version of the software for $67 to get unlimited searches and advanced training tutorials too.

When it comes to other upgrades (as you might have known), they are as follows:

  • ‘Steal Our Backend’ = $197
  • ‘The Ultimate Collection’ = $297
  • ‘Limitless Traffic’ = $197
  • ‘Licence Rights’ to earn 100% commissions from promoting Enigma itself = $167 – which is the reason behind the “glowing” user reviews on Google.

Final Conclusion: Is Enigma Worth it?

I’m not gonna lie, I really wanna take Enigma for a spin to find out what she’s really capable of on Facebook.

But what concerns me the most is the potential risk of Facebook not only closing down my fan page…

But penalizing my personal FB profile too.

Believe me, it’s already happened before.

Not just with me, but also 1,000s – 10,000s of fan page owners in the “affiliate marketing” niche.

My fan page was terminated by the ‘FB police’ for apparently “violating the terms”.

No, not for using Armstrong’s software, but for generally doing posts (which were highly valuable, I might add).

Maybe it’s the fact that FB is more in favour of marketers “paying” for ads instead of using the platform for “organic” traffic.

After all, they’ve gotta keep the shareholders happy, right?

But anyway, I think this software has the potential to make you money.

But it comes with a short shelf life, in my opinion.

Because Facebook pulls all the strings, at the end of the day.

Stop Putting Your Success in The Hands of FB…

Did you know there are FAR greater ways of starting an affiliate marketing Biz and making it lucrative?

You’d be surprised at how many strategies you have FULL control over instead of allowing social media to dictate your success.

For example, my strategy’s called “blogging”.

And it’s extremely powerful for driving free traffic, earning an income, and building a brand too.

BUT, it is “hard work“.

If this is the method you wanna roll with for affiliate marketing, and also want tools, training & 24/7 support to get the job done…
